Our Programs
We offer 2-day, 3-day or 5-day programs within each age group. We offer half-days or full-days in our preschool program when our enrollment allows. The center is open year-round with no vacation weeks. We do observe legal holidays as well as one professional development day. (See our School Calendar for dates.) Meals
Daily snacks and a nutritious catered hot lunch are provided as part of tuition for toddlers and preschoolers. Monthly menus are available by the first week of every month. Download lunch menu. Families of infants provide breast milk or formula, as well as cereal and jarred baby food.
Hours
The center is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm. We ask that all infants and toddlers arrive by 9:30 and that all preschoolers arrive by 9:00. We also ask that all parents arrive no later than 5:45, so that we can close by 6:00 pm.
Enrichment Programs
Preschoolers participate in at least three exciting field trips each year. For example, in the past, we’ve taken part in RISD’s preschool reading series, we’ve traveled to a local farm, and we’ve gone bowling! We also provide a variety of in-house “field trips” for all of the children. In the past, we’ve had visits from Biomes traveling aquarium, Regal Reptiles, musicians, puppet shows, Tumble Bus, and horse-drawn hayrides! See our events listings for upcoming programs.
