Our Staff

At the heart of the Eastside Early Learning center is a group of dedicated and caring teachers, a registered nurse, and a hard working director.

East Side Early Learning Center - Children & Teacher

Dedication
The longevity of our staff is extraordinary. We have some teachers who have been employed here between 10 and 20 years!

Education and Experience
All of our teachers have at least an Associate’s degree or a combination of experience and education; and all teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid. Our registered nurse is on site five mornings per week.

The Executive Director, Julie Esposito, who serves as both Head Teacher and Director of the Center, manages the Center’s curriculum and day-to-day operations. Julie is a certified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College.  She has previous taught preschool and kindergarten  in various early childhood settings.

Continued Growth
The director, nurse, and every teacher complete at least twenty professional development hours annually, including one professional day.

About our Board of Directors
As a non-profit organization, the Eastside Early Learning Center is managed by a voluntary board of directors consisting of parents and community representatives. The board is responsible for setting policies and procedures and for supporting the work of the director and the center as a whole.
